7.4 Composite maps
今度は関数合成と canonical extension が可換になるかどうかという話。位相的な特徴づけをします。
まず使う位相の定義。ブール代数の canonical extension の上で次の位相を考える。
- : up-directed joins で閉じた down-set が閉集合 (Scott topology)
- ちなみによく知られているであろう事実として、写像が Scott topology で連続であることは directed joins を保つことと同値であるという remark がされている
- : 双対順序から決まる Scott topology
- : と を含む最弱の位相
- 具体的には を開集合族とする位相 *1
- : closed element の上界を開集合とする位相 *2
- : の双対 (closed element の下界が開集合)
- : と を含む最弱の位相。具体的な構成は と同様
- ρ,ρ' を A, B の上の位相とするとき、関数 f: A -> B は (A, ρ) から (B, ρ') への写像として連続であるとき (ρ, ρ')-continuous であるということにする
あとは事実の羅列になるが が monotone であるとき
- is the largest monotone -continuous extension of f
- f is smooth iff is -continuous
- if f is an operator, then is -continuous
- if f is additive, then is -continuous
- if f is multiplicative, then is -continuous
が成り立つ。最後のは最後から二番目のやつの双対。
さらに写像の合成に関して、 のとき

の二つが成り立つ。
